Aldi, the award-winning discount food retailer, is bringing forward revised proposals to deliver a new high-quality food store in Hove.

Aldi has long wanted to expand the offer of its amazing value and choice to the residents of Hove.

The scheme would provide an attractive, modern Aldi food store in a convenient and accessible location, improving customer choice, and reducing travel times.

We have revised and re-submitted our plans following the Council’s approval of the nearby Toads Hole Valley mixed use scheme. Our new proposals take full account of officer comments during the initial consultation.

Aldi’s proposals for a new discount food store represent an exciting opportunity for Hove. There is a recognised need to deliver a new Aldi to Brighton and Hove, as our current
stores are significantly over-trading and drawing in customers from far across the city, including Hove.

A new store at Court Farm House will help alleviate the pressure on existing stores, while delivering a £6m investment into the area that will secure up to 50 new jobs and long-term
economic benefits for the community.

Virtual Exhibition

Before we submit a new planning application to the City Council, Aldi would like to hear your views regarding our plans for a new discount food store at Court Farm House.

We have arranged a Virtual Exhibition of our updated plans, which will be open on this website between 28th July and Sunday 14th August 2022. Please let us know your thoughts and comments in response to our draft plans by visiting our Feedback tab before 11th August.
