Aldi’s proposal to extend its existing store in Moreton offers:
- A bigger sales floorspace of 1,340m2 for improved customers experience
- Safeguard the existing store jobs and creating around 10 new roles which will continue to pay at an industry-leading rate above the National Living Wage
- Create further employment opportunities throughout construction and ensure our continued support to the local supply chain
- Offer an improved layout with wider aisles to ensure a modern shopping environment
- Include free customer parking for 116 cars, an increase of 32, including nine parent-and-child spaces and seven accessible bays. In addition, four electric vehicle charging points will be provided with passive infrastructure for additional charging points to be installed in the future
