Aldi’s Proposals for Dumbarton

Aldi, the award-winning discount food retailer is delighted to be updating you on our proposals to bring a new food store to Dumbarton.

Aldi has long wanted to expand the offer of its amazing value and choice to the residents of Dumbarton, and these proposals would bring a first store to the town, and a third to West Dunbartonshire.

A planning application is being prepared by Aldi and your feedback will be used to inform the application prior to submission to West Dunbartonshire Council.

If the planning application is approved, Aldi hope to open the new Dumbarton store in late 2026.
