An extension to our Wollaston store would see an increased store footprint of 338sqm, bringing it up to a total retail area of 1,130sqm. 

Aldi are taking ownership of the whole of ‘The Dell Open Space’ to make room for our extension. Aldi will enhance the green space, making it more appealing to local residents.

An extension to the store would mean: 

• A larger store with better accessibility going from 850sqm to 1,130sqm retail area. 
• More tills enabling us to manage customer demand better and reduce queues at the checkout.  
• Retention of all existing jobs and creation of additional roles for local people. 
• Further employment opportunities created during construction and via the supply chain.  
• A more environmentally friendly store, with rooftop solar panels, heat pumps, LED lighting, and more energy efficient fridge doors.
