A new Aldi on West Road, Bourne

We’re asking the local community to support our plans for a new Aldi on West Road, Bourne. We need local people to tell South Kesteven District Council how a new Aldi in Bourne would help residents with the cost of living crisis and reduce journey times to nearby Aldi’s.

Our proposals include:

  • A £5million investment into the local economy.
  • A brand-new Aldi food store with a net sales area of 1,315sqm.
  • The creation of around 40 new full-time jobs for local people.
  • A new store in a convenient and accessible location in Bourne, reducing the need for customers to travel further afield to our stores in Spalding or Stamford.
  • 127 car parking spaces, including six dedicated accessible bays, six parent & child bays, and bicycle parking.
  • Four electric vehicle charging points, with additional infrastructure installed to deliver a further 22 charging points in the future.
  • Free car parking at the Aldi store for up to 90 minutes.
  • Additional employment opportunities provided during construction and through the supply chain.
  • Attractive landscaping incorporated around the site to mitigate the store’s visual impact.
