Award-winning discount food retailer Aldi, is bringing forward a planning application for a new Aldi store for Hetton-le-Hole.

Our proposals for Hetton-le-Hole offers:

An investment of £5million into the local economy
A brand-new Aldi food store with a net sales area of 1315m²
Around 40 new full-time equivalent jobs for the new Aldi store, paid at Aldi’s industry-leading rate, above the National Living Wage
102 free customer parking spaces at the Aldi food store, including six accessible and eight parent and child spaces
Four electric vehicle charging points will also be available with additional infrastructure installed so further charging points can be added in the future
Additional employment opportunities provided during construction and in the supply chain
Attractive landscaping around the site to enhance its appearance
