A new and improved Aldi on Bristol Road, Selly Oak

We’re asking the local community to support our plans for a new Aldi in Selly Oak. We need local people to tell Birmingham City Council how a new Aldi on Bristol Road in Selly Oak will be a substantial improvement on the existing store, which is one of the oldest in the West Midlands.

Our proposal includes:  

• The creation of new jobs in addition to those that would be retained from the existing store. Further employment opportunities will be available during construction and throughout the supply chain 

• A major investment in the local community and a big boost for the economy of Selly Oak 
• Increased choice and competition for the area, which will help to boost trade locally 
• A modern and accessible new store for local people with free parking for up to 90 minutes
